Privacy
Many of the people we work with are minors. We collect as little as possible, explain why we collect it, and make it easy to delete.

The Ivy Forecast
The Forecast does not ask for a student's name, date of birth, address or contact details. Answers are stored in your browser, not on our servers. To produce a written interpretation, answers are sent to our server, scored, and discarded; they are not stored or used to train any model.
Information you give us
- Consultation requests: your name, email, your role, optionally the student's grade and a message.
- Enrolled students: the academic information needed to teach and advise, such as transcripts and scores, provided by the family.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
Students under 13
Accounts and services for students under 13 are set up by a parent or guardian, who gives consent and controls the student's information. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Parents and students
Parents can see the information held about their student. Students aged 13 and over have their own account; families agree together which information is shared on the parent dashboard.
Analytics
We record anonymous product events, such as a page view or a completed Forecast, to understand how the site is used. Events never include names, emails or Forecast answers.
Your data and deletion
You can clear Forecast answers at any time from the assessment. To see, correct or delete any information we hold, email theivytutoring@gmail.com. We delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep a record, such as payment records.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by role, and database rules ensure each family can only see its own records.
